How an existing Android app can become a US-market product
WertNoxX transforms receipts, invoices and recurring expenses into a personal overview of spending, price developments and financial planning. The existing Android app provides a tangible technological foundation for entering the American market.
This is not a claim that a finished US version already exists. It is a defined adaptation project: preserve the established calculations and financial analysis, then localize the user experience and receipt processing for American retail conditions.

An existing app as the starting point
The existing WertNoxX Android application already supports expense management, financial calculations, personal price comparisons and forecasts. These core functions can be reused for a US edition. The work would focus on adapting the existing capabilities to American shopping receipts, retailer conventions and consumer habits rather than rebuilding the product from scratch.
Its current features also cover purchases, invoices, recurring commitments and reports. Optional AI-assisted extraction is used only with explicit consent; subsequent financial analysis is performed locally.
What needs to change for the US market
A US edition would require a fully English user interface, US-dollar amounts, American date formats and units such as pounds, ounces and gallons. Receipt recognition would be adapted to US retailers, product descriptions and item naming conventions.
Processing would also need to handle separately stated sales tax, tips and fees. Recurring payments, reporting and personal price comparisons would be adjusted to American purchasing habits. Representative US receipts are essential for testing that amounts, products, quantities and comparisons work reliably together.
Estimated development effort: 300–350 hours
As the original developer, I estimate approximately 300 to 350 working hours for adapting the existing Android feature set, including testing and technical handover. The anticipated implementation period is around seven to ten weeks, depending on coordination, the availability of US sample receipts and final acceptance.
Testing with American receipts is part of the estimate so that prices, item descriptions, quantities and comparisons are validated together. The final scope will be defined with the buyer using agreed requirements and representative test data. An iOS version, bank connectivity or other new features would be separate projects.
A clear foundation for investors
A buyer would acquire an already developed Android project with its own source code and existing financial analysis functions, subject to the terms of an agreed transaction. This creates a practical starting point for building a dedicated US version to the buyer’s requirements, rather than commissioning an entirely new app.
